The CubuSynth Engine is a dual analog VCO with wave shaping functions, internal modulations and a chaos generator.
It is based around the 3340 chip and features 4 Waveforms + Wavefolder per VCO and 4 Modulated Outputs, all simultaneously.
The CubuSynth Engine can work as 2 independent VCOs, or as one complex FM oscillator.
With its inernal "Chaos Engine" it creates semi-random voltages, generated by the 2
oscillator cores. This signal is then normalized to the CV inputs for Pulse width
modulation and exponential FM.
Each of the 2 VCOs offers a switch to select one of the 4 waveshapes to be used by the
wavefolders, and the linear FM input normalisations.

Good quality item just tricky to tune if your newer to DIY

So let me just say that I absolutely fell in love with
Not only the engine v2 module but all the other products cubusynth sells, I am relatively new to the euro rack scene but have always wanted to get into it but didn’t like the basic looks and functionality of most modular designs. Having said that cubusynth has changed the game in terms of looks and functionality for all items they sell, I own almost 1 of all the modules they sell and am very pleased with them they make great sound and allows me to make extremely unique sounds I would never be able to do in a DAW program, if you want unique sounds and something cool to add to your eurorack or even starting out to get some new gear in the studio this is a good place to start, starting out with a dual voice VCO with wave folding, chaos implementation, and so much more get these products I love mine and guarantee you’ll love yours if you get some. (Especially the ConseQuencer if you’re looking for a sequencer that’s has a lot of different functionality built right in.) thanks for taking the time to read my review, and thank you Ruben for blessing me with such amazing modules 💕🙏🏻🙌🏻
