Dual analog VCO with wave shaping functions, internal modulations and chaos generator
The CubuSynth Engine is based around the 3340 chip and features 4 Waveforms + Wavefolder per VCO and 4 Modulated Outputs, all simultaneously.
The CubuSynth Engine can work as 2 independent VCOs, or as one complex FM oscillator.
With its inernal "Chaos Engine" it creates semi-random voltages, generated by the 2
oscillator cores. This signal is then normalized to the CV inputs for Pulse width
modulation and exponential FM.
Each of the 2 VCOs offers a switch to select one of the 4 waveshapes to be used by the
wavefolders, and the linear FM input normalisations.

I ordered "Engine V2" in combination with "Exhaust V2" as an expander
to have access to all aspects of sound generation. The outputs of the
expander work well in combination with "Schlappi Engineering Boundary"
and enable interesting possibilities to create rhythmically coupled FM
sounds. That's what I was looking for on first sight.
Nevertheless, "Engine V2" is a successfully complex, well-thought-out
dual oscillator that can do everything from drone to melody and bass.
The genuine and friendly interaction with the customer should also be
mentioned, which shows that they are convinced of the product and stand
up for it.
Amazing. It’s better than I thought it would be and I thought it would be great. Sounds great, fun, smart design. I love this company
